Lesson 4.2 Activity 2: Student Stories and Missing Spark

This activity brings it back to real students. Each short story shows a different pattern. Some students cannot feel joy even when they do the activity, some care but cannot start, and some are beginning to bounce back.

Students will

  • Sort each story into Reward Liking, Reward Wanting, or Reward Learning
  • Label where stress is attacking the circuit
  • Identify signs that resilience is starting to show up

You can have students work alone or in pairs, then talk through the answer key as a group.
